About the app and your account

Kayan helps men and women meet with a serious intention to marry. You must be at least 18 to use the app. A match or marriage is not guaranteed.

Use your own accurate details and photos, and keep your sign-in information private. Tell us if someone uses your account without permission.

Treat others with respect

We prohibit abuse, harassment, threats, blackmail, fraud, sexually explicit content, and sharing another person's private photos or information without permission. Unauthorised advertising, collecting members' data, and attempts to break into their accounts are also prohibited.

Child sexual abuse, exploitation, grooming, and any content involving the sexual abuse of children are strictly prohibited.

You can block and report within the app. We review reports daily and prioritise urgent cases. We may remove content or suspend accounts to protect users, and notify the relevant authorities as required by law. Contact us to request a review of a decision.

Do not send money or sensitive financial information to someone you met through the app.

Your photos and content

You or the original owners keep the rights to your photos and text. We use them to operate the app, display your profile and deliver your messages. We do not use your photos in Kayan advertising without your permission.

Only share content you have the right to share. A verification badge, if available, explains what was checked; it does not guarantee a person's behaviour or intentions.

When purchases become available:

• You will see the benefits, price, currency, plan duration and renewal terms before paying. Prices may vary by country.
• There is no free trial for Gold.
• Selecting a plan alone does not charge you; you must confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically under the displayed terms. You can cancel renewal through Google Play subscriptions, and benefits normally continue until the paid period ends.
• Deleting the app or your Kayan account does not cancel your store subscription.
• Cancelling renewal does not automatically refund a payment. Refunds follow the store's rules and your legal rights.

Deleting your account and getting help

Request deletion from Settings → Manage account → Delete account and data, or by email. The privacy policy explains deletion in more detail.

Maintenance or faults may temporarily interrupt the app. We will explain important changes to these terms. Your legal rights remain protected.
